The Manager of Manufacturing Technical Support will facilitate transfer of manufacturing processes within Cytovance and between Cytovance and clients.  Manage operation of Cell Banking Facility.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical input into client proposals
• Support validation of Contract Manufacturing Facility and Cell Banking Facility
• Assist in identifying suppliers and setting specifications for raw materials and manufacturing components, including disposable processing components.  Participate on vendor audits.
• Partner with client, Process Development, and Manufacturing to transfer client processes to the manufacturing plant.
• Assist in production planning and raw material procurement.
• Provide technical support, monitoring, and troubleshooting of manufacturing processes.
• Assist in Managing Cell Banking operation and provide technical leadership on cell culture, aseptic fill, and cryogenic processes.
• Write, review, approve, and/or execute SOP’s, master batch records, validation protocols, and vendor audit reports.
• Chair Safety Committee, lead safety training efforts.

Qualifications:

• 10-15 years of experience in mammalian cell culture process development or technical support.
• Ph.D preferred, M.S. acceptable with sufficient experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to work within multifunctional teams.
